Pamela Wright's career spans radio production, travel broadcasting, photography, magazine editing and travel writing. Her experience includes media liaison and panel presentation with tourism and travel media worldwide.
Her media profession began at the ABC in Sydney where she was Executive Producer for programs from hard news to lifestyle. ‘Travellers Tales’, her own weekly program, earned high ratings for ABC Radio One throughout Australia for seven years with an ensuing book published by Allen & Unwin.
She was Travel Editor at Radio 2UE for three years and Radio 2GB for five years and is currently a regular contributor to travel magazines, a variety of newspapers and is a broadcaster on commercial and ABC radio in Australia.
Vice President of the Australian Society of Travel Writers for four years, she is now one of ten Life Members.
